Tracking Information
Goods are despatched using a standard next-day delivery with City Link who guarantee to deliver before 5.30pm as standard on weekdays and between 7am and 12 Noon on Saturdays. During peak times, residential addresses may be delivered up to 7.30pm. Rental Helium Cylinders are delivered by a third party network of agents covering the UK (These deliveries are only available Mon-Fri).
If your order contained a Rental Helium Cylinder and Goods, please expect two deliveries on the date requested for delivery.
Time-slots and ETA's are not offered by third party delivery agents and so Click4 is only able to offer limited tracking assistance. We can pass-on requests but cannot be held to these arrangements as we have no direct control over drivers routes etc. Please ensure someone is available at the delivery point to sign for the goods on the day of requested delivery. Goods can be left unsigned, if during ordering, customers specified a ‘Leave Safe’ instruction which tells the delivery agent where to leave goods securely if no one is available to sign for receipt. This is expressly done at the customers own risk and Click4 accepts no liability for lost or stolen goods.
Tracking Your Courier Delivery
The day before delivery, Click4 sends each order a despatch notice by email, with a VAT receipt attached which also contains the relevant Courier Consignment Number (Starting PE or PDL). This number can be entered at http://www.city-link.co.uk for the latest tracking information. You can also get the contact details for the Depot handling the delivery who will assist with any tracking issues. Alternatively please call their Customer Call Centre on 01908 280250 quoting your Consigment Number starting PE or PDL
In the event that a signature is unavailable at your specified delivery address, Citylink will attempt to leave a card indicating that the delivery has been attempted. The card will also give details of the automated telephone line provided by CityLink for customers to rearrange their delivery for another occasion. CityLink will redeliver once more free of charge. If they are asked to redeliver a third time the customer will be charged an additional £4.99 by Click4 for each subsequent attempt.
Failed deliveries will automatically be rescheduled for the following day (Please note that an order failing on a Friday, which paid the Mon-Fri delivery rate, will be reattempted the following Monday). After two failed delivery attempts, the goods will be held by the courier for 4 days allowing the customer time to collect. After 4 days the goods will return to Click4 and incur a Return Fee of £12.95
Customers can arrange with the courier to collect their consignment from the nearest depot. When collecting goods, the person who ordered the goods must take some suitable ID with them to their local depot. If goods are not collected with 4 days or goods return after being refused at the delivery address, they will be returned to Click4. In this instance the customer will automatically be charged an additional £12.95 return-fee. If the customer would then like Click4 to re-despatch the goods, the customer must pay the return charge plus the prevailing delivery rate. Please do not leave goods with courier for longer than 4 days as this creates unnecessary charges to the customer, which Click4 incurs and must pass on.
Once an order is despatched, customers wishing to change a delivery address must pay a redirection charge of £12.95. Incorrect Delivery Postcode's specified with orders will automatically incur a redirection charge of £12.95 which is imposed by the courier and passed on by Click4. Alternatively, customers can then collect their consignment from the courier depot without charge within 4 days of despatch from Click4.
Please note that the Guaranteed Timed services provided by the courier are guaranteed by themselves, and not Click4. Should they not meet a deadline, Click4 will liase with the delivery company and endeavour to obtain compensation for the customer. Click4 however, cannot be held responsible for a Third Party guarantee as it is beyond our control. If goods arrive too late for an event, the best course of action is to sign for the delivery, to prevent the Return Fee and then return goods by 2nd Class Royal Mail or Royal Mail Standard Parcel service to Click4 for a refund. If Click4 or the delivery agent was at fault for the late delivery, then the Goods will be refunded (if unused) plus the outbound delivery charge paid. Click4 will attempt to compensate your return postage limited to £4.00 if a full receipt is provided.
